Esha Shoker

My name is Esha Shoker, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Salius Physiotherapy. I completed my MA in Counselling Psychology from City University. I decided to pursue a career in counselling as I felt it was the best way for me to help others.
When life gets complicated, we tend to feel overwhelmed. When we start to feel overwhelmed, it can become difficult to deal with feeling alone. We go through challenges in life and sometimes these challenges take a strain on our well-being. This causes us to feel helpless and unsure of what to do or who to turn to. With our everchanging and fast-paced lives, it is tough to take a break for ourselves and better understand what and why we are feeling a certain way. As a therapist my goal is to Help you untangle your thoughts and emotions so you can feel & think clearly again.
Health and Wellness is not simply measured by what one eats or how much one exercises. Good health is also measured by what one is thinking and feeling. Expressing our thoughts and feelings is a way to organize the chaos inside our minds and heart. Simply speaking, talking cures.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to your needs. As each person comes from diverse backgrounds, as your counsellor I ensure I take all aspects into account throughout our rehabilitation. My goal is to support you through your trials and tribulations and help you stand within your own truth or experience.
I offer many different platforms for therapy services, session can be done in person at one of our Salius locations, however, I understand face-to-face therapy can be challenging with the world today. If you are comfortable, sessions can be arranged through secure and encrypted video/phone conferencing.
